Thoughtfully crafted from long-staple GOTS-certified organic cotton, this apron and oven mitt set is designed to elevate everyday cooking with quality that lasts. Long-staple fibres create stronger, smoother yarns, giving each piece durability that stands up to daily use, repeated washing, and years of meals cooked at home.

Both the apron and oven mitt are hand block-printed using natural dyes derived from leaves, bark, and flowers. This traditional Kalamkari technique embeds the pigment deeply into the fibres, creating rich, earthy patterns that age beautifully over time rather than fade or wash out. Because each print is applied by hand, no two pieces are exactly alike.

The apron offers a soft, breathable feel with a lightweight drape and adjustable fit, designed to stay comfortable through long cooking sessions. The oven mitt features dense organic cotton insulation and sturdy quilting for dependable heat protection while maintaining a soft interior feel.

Exceptionally soft, breathable, and durable textiles that care for your skin and tread lightly on the earth.

HOW TO CARE

  • Wash in cold water on gentle cycle to care for the hand knotted fringes, with plant based detergents and no bleaching agents
  • If you get snags or loops on your towel do not pull it, as this will cause more damage, simply cut it. It may happen with new towels, snags and loops appear as the fabric settles in, simply cut it and give your towel time to settle in
  • To keep your towels fresh and soft naturally, add either a cap of white vinegar or 1/2 cup of bicarb soda to your rinse cycle. Both are antibacterial, help disperse any remaining soap, and result in soft, fluffy, absorbent towels.
  • Wash colours separately
  • Shake well before line drying to release any loose fibres. Avoid direct sunlight where possible
  • Can be tumble dried on a low or warm setting
  • Make sure it is fully dry before storing away

INGREDIENTS
Organic Cotton

We start at the source: our cotton seeds are organic, not GMOs, and our farm partners rely exclusively on non-toxic resources to quality as 100% organic.
Rain water

We use harvested monsoon rain water throughout the entire seed to shelf journey to avoid wasting this precious natural resource.
DYES

We use non toxic GOTS certified dyes. All our prints and fabrics are dyed using water based dyes free of ammonia, formaldehyde, chlorine bleach and toxic heavy metals.

Potato starch

Instead of using harsh toxic chemicals during production and finishing, we use potato starch to coat the threads which strengthens and prevents breakdown.
Neem

Using age old traditional farming practices we use Neem as an organic pest and fungal control for our crops instead of toxic insecticides or pesticides.
Marigold

We work with nature to protect the land by using innovative natural pest control methods and the power of the humble marigold.
Solar Power

We use the power of the sun. Our mills harness the suns energy with on site solar plants.
