Bhumi linen is made from pure flax, a low-impact crop requiring minimal water and no harmful chemicals to grow. Naturally breathable and beautifully textured, our linen is woven for durability, softness, and effortless elegance. We work only with ethical partners who align with our values of sustainability and care, from seed to shelf. Every piece is free from toxic dyes and finishes — just the way nature intended.

HOW TO CARE

  • The best thing you can do is put your Organic Linen Bedding through a cold wash first before using
  • To reach that ultimate soft state, pop the linen through a few extra cold washes to ensure the linen sheds the excess fibres as fast as possible and settles into that dreamy soft airy linen
  • Wash in cold water on gentle cycle with plant based detergents and no bleaching agents
  • Avoid direct sunlight as this can cause the colour to fade
  • Do not tumble dry as the heat can damage the fabric and shrink the linen
  • Linen naturally creases and will soften with your body warmth but if you need to iron, do so inside out on a warm setting
  • Make sure it is fully dry before storing away

INGREDIENTS
Organic Cotton

We start at the source: our cotton seeds are organic, not GMOs, and our farm partners rely exclusively on non-toxic resources to qualify as 100% organic.
Rain water

We use harvested monsoon rain water throughout the entire seed to shelf journey to avoid wasting this precious natural resource.
DYES

We use non toxic GOTS certified dyes. All our prints and fabrics are dyed using water based dyes free of ammonia, formaldehyde, chlorine bleach and toxic heavy metals.

Potato starch

Instead of using harsh toxic chemicals during production and finishing, we use potato starch to coat the threads which strengthens and prevents breakdown.
Neem

Using age old traditional farming practices we use Neem as an organic pest and fungal control for our crops instead of toxic insecticides or pesticides.
Marigold

We work with nature to protect the land by using innovative natural pest control methods and the power of the humble marigold.
Solar Power

We use the power of the sun. Our mills harness the suns energy with on site solar plants.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THESE SHEETS!

"I purchased the Queen size Ash Linen Sheet Set. OMG I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these sheets! Not long before I saw these on Bhumi I purchased a set from Bath, Bed & Table they are nice but thinner. The Bhumi linen sheets weighed 500 grams heavier than the Bath, Bed & Table, yes I weighed them lol. Bhumi appears thick and heavier but weirdly enough they feel wonderful on. My husband likes the air conditioner on all night and I get a little chilly, the sheets are enough to keep me comfortable in the heat. I won't buy any other brand now than Bhumi. Such good quality and yes as others stated the fitted sheet is baggy but the top sheet is so generous there's never any fighting over the sheet! The colour Ash is a deep charcoal, beautiful luxurious colour."
