INGREDIENTS

We start at the source: our cotton seeds are organic, not GMOs, and our farm partners rely exclusively on non-toxic resources to qualify as 100% organic.

We use harvested monsoon rain water throughout the entire seed to shelf journey to avoid wasting this precious natural resource.

We use non toxic GOTS certified dyes. All our prints and fabrics are dyed using water based dyes free of ammonia, formaldehyde, chlorine bleach and toxic heavy metals.

Instead of using harsh toxic chemicals during production and finishing, we use potato starch to coat the threads which strengthens and prevents breakdown.

Using age old traditional farming practices we use Neem as an organic pest and fungal control for our crops instead of toxic insecticides or pesticides.

We work with nature to protect the land by using innovative natural pest control methods and the power of the humble marigold.

We use the power of the sun. Our mills harness the suns energy with on site solar plants.

"I absolutely love these wide-leg leggings. They are incredibly comfortable, flattering, and feel much more polished than regular leggings. "Due to the slow fashion aspect, delivery was a while. But the wait was 100% worth it! I love the quality of the fabric, the way they fit without cutting my circulation off at my waist & joints! Amazing comfort

"Love these and need to get some more. The sizing was a bit tricky but it's so comfy, it doesn't bother me as much now. I wear it for my Pilates and it's such an amazing feeling not having all your organs squashed in Lycra tights. Highly recommend this but do try th first because the sizing is a bit odd"

"Lovely fabric, feels soft and comfortable, and breathable. Medium thickness, fabric so it suits warm and cooler temperatures. The fit is perfect, & true to size, with a nice wide waist band that can be easily folded at the height you prefer, and it stays put. Very happy with them."

Super comfy but thin

"I purchased the cotton leggings - they fit well and feel really nice and breathable, however pretty thin compared to what im used to. I put them on for my second wear and noticed two little round holes mid front thighs. They aren't super tight/stretched but I there would be movement there when i was doing squats and possibly pulling them up even though didn't need to tug. . . i guess that is the payoff . . not having plasttic in . . maybe they can't be made thicker /stronger."

"I'm size 8 and medium height, and often pants are way too long. There are perfect length, and would still suit a taller person. Fabric feels soft, good quality and a comfort fit especially around the waist, with the wide band you can fold."

Nice colour, comfy, home-wear

"Size L, 172cm tall, 103. 5cm hip. I like these for around the house, they feel comfy, are well made and are a lovely colour. They're slightly too short however and they have loosened slightly after one wear. It feels like a medium would be too small. They're also a little thinner than expected."

Very Sheer (can’t wear by themselves without shorts)

"Based on the pictures and the description on the website you’d think these are leggings which you wear on their own but once I received mine I was very disappointed to find that they are very sheer, to the point where you can visibly see undergarments. So not suitable to wear without some shorts or something over the top. I would suggest Bhumi calls this product ‘layers’ or ‘thermals’ or anything other than leggings, cause that implies you can wear them by themselves. Very disappointing given the price, I was told it’s cause they are made from breathable materials but surely it shouldn’t be so breathable that they are thin and sheer. The only reason I didn’t put terrible is that they fit nicely."

Yet to test out but pockets are too small

"This is my first pair of leggings from Bhumi. Ive only tried on once and have not yet worn them yet for activities. I don't know if I got the right size, as they were very snug to get on, so don't know if they will give a bit. The pockets for me are not very useful which is why I chose this style. I can not fit my smart phone which is on the smaller side of phones these days (Samsung S22) with silicone cover. The colour is on tread and I love the thought of them being sustainable and ethically made. Oh and most importantly-no plastic against my skin."
