You might be sleeping under a quilt, doona, or duvet, but what truly matters is what it's made of. If it's labeled as polyester, it's essentially 100% plastic, infused with toxic chemicals like formaldehyde and phthalates. This chemical-laden material prevents your skin from breathing, leading to increased sweating. Moreover, its production contributes to environmental pollution. While many opt for wool or feather-filled quilts, they overlook the harm caused to animals. Surprisingly, most people are unaware of the materials in their bedding. Despite claims of eco-friendliness, the market lacks truly sustainable options. That's why we've innovated a quilt made from biodegradable, 100% organic cotton certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard. It's hypoallergenic, asthma-friendly, and promotes breathability, ensuring a comfortable sleep. By supporting our campaign, you're not just improving your sleep but also contributing to animal welfare and environmental conservation.

Behind the seams
Why Organic cotton & How is it different from other quilt insert fibres?

We have conducted an important analysis comparing commonly used quilt insert fibres based on key metrics such as hypoallergenic properties, biodegradability, and the presence of toxic chemicals. GOTS-approved organic cotton was found to be the best option across all metrics.

what we discovered
there is a gap in the market for 100% sustainable quilt insert option

After analysing 7 leading bedding brands, we've noticed that none of them are choosing 100% sustainable options for quilt inserts. This has clarified our mission. Our goal for the future is to expand internationally, making a larger impact by providing sustainable, organic cotton bedding to people worldwide.

Prevents clumping, ensures comfort
designed to stay airy and comfortable, free from any clumps or unevenness

Our unique baffle box design ensures that your bedding stays fluffy and comfortable without clumping. This feature guarantees a cozy and long-lasting sleep experience while also promoting sustainability through the use of organic cotton.

Stop animal cruelty
Why wool, feather, and down quilt inserts are not the most sustainable option

Down feathers are frequently obtained through the painful process of plucking them from live birds, causing distress and discomfort to the animals. It is a cruel practice that involves removing the feathers from the sensitive skin of geese, typically requiring the feathers of 40 to 54 geese to produce enough down for a single king-size quilt insert. This mass extraction not only inflicts physical pain but also subjects the birds to considerable stress and trauma.

Similarly, the production of wool often involves inhumane practices, including the shearing of sheep without the administration of pain relief. Sheep, whose wool is harvested, endure the painful process of having large pieces of skin and flesh cut from their backs, causing significant discomfort and suffering. This practice, performed without regard for the welfare of the animals, reflects a disregard for their well-being and highlights the need for more humane and ethical approaches to animal farming and product manufacturing.

What You Need to Know
Why we don't use bamboo, despite its ‘sustainable reputation’

Bamboo has been marketed as a sustainable and eco-friendly material due to its fast-growing nature and minimal need for pesticides and fertilisers. However, the truth is more complex. The production of bamboo fabrics involves heavy processing with chemicals that can have harmful environmental impacts. It’s been discovered that the dangerous chemicals involved in the manufacturing process of viscose bamboo aren’t always being properly managed, which is leading to health and environmental issues.
It is important to understand the full picture of bamboo's environmental and social impact before considering it a sustainable choice.

Nature is meant to be great
Naturally hypoallergenic. allergy & asthma free.

GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified organic cotton is naturally hypoallergenic due to the absence of harmful chemicals and pesticides in its cultivation and processing.

Stringent GOTS criteria guarantee adherence to strict organic and environmental standards throughout the entire production process, resulting in cotton products less likely to cause allergic reactions or irritate sensitive skin—an eco-friendly and hypoallergenic choice.

What does ‘GOTS’ Mean?

Our Organic Cotton has been certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard, a third-party certification process.
