Unveiling the Ethos of Bhumi
Posted on June 06 2016
Working with artist Lucy Yu adds a new dimension for visual interpretations and meanings of the things we are passionate about. We share the unveiling of the Ethos of Bhumi Organic Cotton.
Understanding the true impact of our actions, thoughts and choices on the earth and on humanity is the beginning of the journey. Everything we do has a ripple effect. Change is far reaching like the ocean that covers most of the earth's surface. A pebble that is thrown into water on one side of the ocean, the ripples can create great waves on the other side.
Knowledge brings you the power to make conscious decisions. This power brings choice where you decide what the impacts of your decisions are. And this choice is what will bring big waves of change for the earth and for humanity.
Her long tresses cascade down and meld into a great wave. The waves dance on the ocean of Life. The ocean is always moving, changing and shifting. Like everything in life change allows us a new perspective, new understandings, new ways of doing things. She nurtures, nourishes and protects us and gives us air to breathe, water to drink, and healing foods to eat. With cotton flowers adorning her hair she brings forth life.
Mother earth is a living entity in her own right. With her own force and own path of power, creativity and unfolding. She continues to nourish, enliven and shape the earth with rain, sun, soil and wind. She continues to teach us and remind us of our connection to the land and each other.
From her springs forth life. Plants, Trees, Forests, Rainforests. They all provide habitats for so many creatures. Our life depends on it. Plants inspire wonder and there is great wisdom in each seed. Each seed contains hope, each seed contains life, each seed contains potential, and each seed contains change.
She is beauty. She is grace. She is Mother Earth. She is gentility and power, in union; she will bring peace, if only we allow her to blossom.
