Balance Tip - Healing with Water

Water is known for its healing powers. It has always been used in ways to cleanse, transform, calm and restore the body.
In all types of weather, head to the ocean as it is a sacred place of calm, power and serenity. Watch the flow of the waves on the ocean and allow your mind to be induced to relax. Watch, feel or even just listen to the ebb and flow of the waves. This will help the body and mind to slow down to relax to the natural rhythm and flow of the water. Let your feet feel the sand and water beneath you – if it is warm water allow yourself to feel how soothing the warmth is. If it is cold allow yourself to be refreshed and re-invigorated. Close your eyes and connect to the sand, the water, the sounds of the waves and the smell of the salty air. Unwind and flow with the water. Let go. Allow yourself to see the ocean like the journey of life. There are moments of calm and moments where it is rough. But all the while it is beautiful. Allow the flow of the water to flow with the energy within you.
