Balance Tip - Gratitude

Time is always passing us by. We have so many things to do and we often forget to stop. Sometimes we even forget to truly breathe. Tensions builds up. Worry takes over. Stress starts to eat us. We lose sight of the bigger purpose and our place in it. We need to help reshape our priorities and with it activities for the mind that allow for it to slow down and perhaps even stop and bask in the beauty of stillness.
Pause for a moment and reflect on what you are grateful for.
Be thankful for the little and big things that are so important but things that we often forget.. Thank your eyes.. Your breath.. Your life.. Having shelter.. Having nourishing food.. Having clean water.. Breathing fresh air.. Your loved ones.. Another chance.. Another way to do something.. Another way to see something.. Another way to understand something… Make the time at night before you sleep, to lie still and reflect.. Reflect and think of all the things, people and moments that you are thankful for, embrace them and see the world and people in it with a new perspective.
